silhouette in the dark

I am on my way home from school that time. It's almost 10. Pitch-black and cool outside. I looked up. The sky is clear. I can't see even a speck of light from the moonless sky. The touch and calmness of the cool night breeze brings such a shivering yet soothing massage on my tired body and mind. Feeling the relaxation the breeze is giving, an epic picturesque caught my eye. Behind the pitch-black, starless, and moonless sky, there lies the shadows of the majestic and proud mountains surrounding the fields.

I've searched for possible source of light that could probably give the mountains their shadows. To my dismay, I found nothing. But how come? I could still see them even if it's really dark?

Going back to my senses, I've realized some things. It's not really bad being in the dark after all.   Because after some time that the eyes had adjusted, marvelous things will unravel before our eyes. We just have to give it some time. There are pictures in the dark that we could not see because we're too excited and anxious and overwhelmed with what is happening around us whether it be good or bad, that we want it to be in an instant. Impatience kills the beauty.

One of the realizations is, God is not leaving us the way we thought He had left.  The truth is, we are focusing our eyes on the wrong direction that we could not see the true view of the scenario and we jump into conclusions.  We, Humans have the tendency to do things on our own, on our own understanding, and on our own strength if we have been caught unguarded and weak, not knowing that there are greater things for us, far more greater than what we thought we deserve.
